Tifft competes at Road America in TA2
Matt Tifft drove for Mike Cope Racing in the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli TA2 class for the second consecutive week on Friday and Saturday, this time at the massive Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
On Friday, Tifft laid down a best qualifying lap of 2:12.981 on the 14-turn, 4.048-mile road course, putting his No. 52 B’laster Products Ford Mustang 15th on the grid.
In Saturday’s TA2 main event, Tifft turned in a strong performance before his engine let go, relegating him to a 17th-place result.
